A Sanjog wedding

Aisha & Rohan

Spring 2026 · Atlanta, Georgia · A two-day Hindu celebration
Begin

Aisha and Rohan met in Atlanta and wanted a wedding that felt like both of them — rooted in tradition, light on formality, and warm above everything else. Over two days, here is how it unfolded.

Chapter I

The Mehndi

The first night belonged to henna, music and the women of both families — a slow, golden afternoon that turned into a kitchen full of laughter.

“I wanted our families to feel like one before the vows ever began.”
Aisha
Chapter II

The Sangeet

Then came the sangeet — weeks of rehearsed dances, a little choreographed chaos, and parents stealing the show.

Chapter III

The Ceremony

Under the mandap at golden hour, the vows. The part of the day everyone slows down for.

“I don’t remember the timeline. I remember her face.”
Rohan
Chapter IV

The Reception

And then, finally, we danced — the food, the speeches, the send-off that nobody wanted to be the first to leave.

We hugged our planner, our photographer and our chef at the end of the night — and realised they were all the same people.
